Common questions
Who is Sarah?
Sarah is Kinto’s AI companion — someone to chat with about everyday things, by voice or text. She is an AI, not a person, and she can make mistakes. She remembers what you tell her so conversations can pick up where you left off.
Can Sarah help in an emergency?
No. Sarah is not a medical or emergency service and does not monitor anyone’s safety. In an emergency call 999. For urgent medical advice call NHS 111, or speak to your doctor or care team.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and personal data at any time. See kinto.you/delete-account for step-by-step instructions in the app and on the web.
I’ve forgotten my password.
In the Kinto app, type your email on the sign-in screen and tap Forgot password?. Care team members can reset theirs at kinto.you/forgot-password. If the email doesn’t arrive, email support@kinto.you from the address you use to sign in. We will never ask you to tell us your password.
I work at a care home. How do I get access to the care workspace?
Your care home’s Kinto owner or administrator invites you by email and chooses your role (carer, admin or read-only viewer). Open the link in the email, choose a password and set up two-factor authentication. The Help Centre walks you through it.
I’m a relative. Can I see my family member’s care records?
Care records belong to the care home and are only available to its care team. For news about your relative, please contact the care home directly.
What happens to my conversations with Sarah?
They are stored securely so Sarah can remember you, and processed by our AI providers to generate her replies. Our privacy policy explains exactly where they go and how long we keep them. Deleting your account deletes them.
Sarah said something wrong or worrying.
Please tell us at support@kinto.you with the date and time so we can look into it. If you are worried about someone’s safety or wellbeing, speak to their care team, contact your local council’s adult safeguarding team, or call 999 if they are in immediate danger.
